Excellent image quality...optical image stabilizer works great! My second Canon camera (also have the S3IS) and they both take excellent pictures and are easy to use for the novice or intermediate photographer. Had a Sony compact camera in between...will never buy a Sony again...any motion by the shooter resulted in absolute blur.I used my guns on the boats and the images are still sharp despite exercise. My future cameras will all be Canons!!!.

I bought this to use in the gym. I was pleased with the sound quality.I sound my iRiver, but as good as my iPod could not find a better eboda. This has a great little feature that changes the play list to slower or faster paced music depending on your pace.The change in the music sometimes gave me a little push to continue my training if for some reason I wimped early. You could also change music by giving it a shake.It requires a learning curve, but I did not notice all the features the iPod was a Christmas present before. I didn't have issues with the software but I was using Windows XP.I sold mine, but I must admit that I miss some of the features when I use my iPod at the gym. .

It's been about 3 weeks.They notified me that if they didn't recieve defective unit within 30 days I would be charged for both.I returned from UPS promtly but still no e-mail that they received. If the electric goes off these phones will not work, no power to the base unit, needs some kind of battery backup.If you leave and take the cell phone with you, when you return bluetooth reconnects automaticly, this is really a cool feature.Hope this helps..

I finally broke down and bought this camera from Calumet,although I almost got it from Amazon.i have been shooting football with this and after years of using the XXD cameras, 60, 10, 20 and 40, this is a see change for me.Im still learning about the features, but with my 300 f / 4. IS, my photos look a lot better than with the 20D or 40D, and I have a lot more keepers too.I have nobody to buy this camera, 8GB at least get an extra battery is also recommended to obtain the card. I used the Mark 3 in a rain storm with no problems.Mark 3ve had since I have not used the 40D sports. I will be looking forward to buying a second one next year..

It is compact and competent. TTL worked fine with my V1 and currently with a V3. A TTL dedicated flash is a breeze to set up and use.You can get more power at a lower price with an automatic universal unity, but they take a lot more fiddling. You just slip this on the hot shoe of a Sony camera and use it like an internal flash. The size and sensor arrangement make it hard to put a large diffuser on it.I have a little snap-on model that works OK, but I would prefer a larger diffuser. I love this lens, it was a Christmas gift last year. My only complaint is that my batteries SEEM to drain a little faster with it, and it focuses and takes photos a little slower than the original 18-55 lens.I also have a goal 75-300. This lens is the best for general use, since I never have to switch anything or carry anything extra.I am not a professional just an amateur who takes thousands of photos a year. my friend had the 700 series...after using that one, i decided to get one, one of the 900 series..Less difference, other than image size, built-in memory, probably.. only thing i found as negative is that it has very small memory, so you have to get a memory stick, 2gb sony memory stick, so it will add$15-25 to price you pay for the camera , not as much as the price, but extra work. Battery-wise, if you do not use a lot of video, its alright.. other than that, absolutely great! sleek, touch-screen, easy to operate and understand settings, videos are good, etc..very, very beautiful machine ... i paid around $320, but is it worth it i think

We purchased this camera because of it's durability features and the reasonable price.The day photos we took are nice and clear with excellent resolution.However, when it came to night time these pictures were terrible. I agree with the other reviewers who talked about the low light quality even with the flash on etc.Nevertheless, we never gave it back we bought a Adata Turbo Series MicroSDHC 8GB and magic pictures soon appear on the screen and much more easier. Try it! With a bit more investment this is an excellent camera..
