I love this lens, it was a Christmas gift last year. My only complaint is that my batteries SEEM to drain a little faster with it, and it focuses and takes photos a little slower than the original 18-55 lens.I also have a goal 75-300. This lens is the best for general use, since I never have to switch anything or carry anything extra.I am not a professional just an amateur who takes thousands of photos a year. With two little kids in tow, the convenience and versatility of this lens cannot be beat!.
